Abstract

The invention relates to a lipid compound of formula (I): ##STR1## where R.sub.1 denotes a C.sub.11 to C.sub.21 alkyl or alkenyl radical and R.sub.2 denotes a linear or branched C.sub.8 to C.sub.30 hydrocarbon radical, saturated or bearing one or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds, and also to a process for preparing it and to compositions for cosmetic use of pharmaceutical use for skin conditions containing this compound.
