Abstract
The present invention provides a novel class of phenylsulfonylalkanoic acid compounds such as a structure corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A present invention phenylsulfonylalkanoic acid compound is useful for prevention or treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, biliary dyskinesia and acute pancreatitis.
