Abstract
The magnetic recording medium which comprises a non-magnetic substrate and a magnetic recording layer, coated on the substrate, said layer comprising a compound having the formula (1): ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is an alkyl having 11 to 31 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each are hydrogen, an alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or an aryl.
