Abstract
Pharmaceutical products containing a 7-diphenylmethylenebicycloheptane or 7-diphenylmethylenebicycloheptene derivative of the formula I ##STR1## in which A, B, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the stated meanings, or a physiologically tolerated acid addition salt of these compounds, and the use thereof as hypolipidemics are described. In addition, new 7-diphenylmethylenebicycloheptane and -heptene derivatives of the formula Ia ##STR2## in which A, B, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the stated meanings, and the physiologically tolerated acid addition salts thereof, as well as processes for the preparation thereof, are described.
