Abstract
The present invention provides an automatic seat-belt applying system for motorcars, comprising a guide rail located laterally relative to a seat and disposed on the vehicle body of a motorcar to extend along a path of movement of a seat belt and a self-propelled anchor movable along the guide rail for holding the seat belt at one end, the self-propelled anchor including a motor for moving the anchor along the guide rail, whereby the seat belt can be automatically applied around a crew sitting on the seat.
