Abstract
A shutter for a single lens reflex camera performs exposure operation by means of a drive motor after closing once an opening responding to release operation from a state that the shutter opening is opened. Said shutter provides a drive member actuated by the drive motor, an operating member which opens and closes the shutter opening by actuating a shutter blade actuated by said drive member, holding means for holding said operating member at an opened position of the shutter opening and means for closing said shutter blade rapidly at the initial stage of actuation of said drive motor.
