Abstract
Novel 1,3,2-benzodithiazole-1-oxides of formula (I) ##STR1## and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts are disclosed, wherein R.sup.1 is a substituent on the 4-, 5-, 6- or 7-position of the benzodithiazole nucleus selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl, halogen, halo(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkoxy, and nitro; and
