Abstract

Described is a synergistic pharmaceutical combination preparation comprising as component A a hybrid .alpha.-interferon the structure of which is derived from human interferon-.alpha.-D and -.alpha.-B gene fragments and as component B a muramylpeptide. The preparation can be used for treating viral diseases or reducing the formation of metastases of certain tumors.
