Abstract

Novel iminosilanes of the general formula Ia or Ib ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl containing at least on the .alpha.-C atom substituents which are inert towards isocyanate groups, so that no hydrogen atom is present on this C atom, R.sub.2 is as defined for R.sub.1 or is hydrogen, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 , together with the common C atom, form a cyclohexylene ring which has on the two C atoms substituents which are inert towards isocyanate groups, R.sub.3 to R.sub.7 are organic radicals, p is 0,1 or 2, m is 1 or 2, n is an integer from 1 to 5 and X is --S-- or --NH--, are described.
