Abstract
A recording material containing an electron donating colorless dye capable of undergoing a coloration reaction, wherein a metal salt of a salicylic acid derivative represented by the following formula (I) and a fatty acid derivative having a benzotriazole group as a substituent group or an alcohol derivative having a benzotriazole group as a substituent group are provided on a same support: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 represent each hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group.
