Abstract

An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprises a conductive support and a photosensitive layer provided thereon, wherein said photosensitive layer contains at least one of the compounds of the following Formula (I) and (II). ##STR1## wherein Y represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; R.sub.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic heterocyclic group which may be bonded through a bonding group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represent a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or aryl group; m is an integer of 1, 2 or 3; n.sub.2 is an integer of 1, 2 or 3; R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group; and n.sub.2 is an integer of 1, 2 or 3.
