Abstract
A process for the selective flotation of metal ores is described, wherein ionic organic collectors are utilized, which have the formula: ##STR1## where R and R.sub.1, like or different from each other, represent: H, a halogen, a straight or branched C.sub.1-9 alkyl group, an alkoxyl or hydroxyalkyl group in which the alkyl moiety contains from 1 to 9 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group; and M represents: H, Na, K, Li, Cs, NH.sub.4.
