Abstract
A pharmaceutical preparation comprising an antibiotic, a pharmaceutical excipient therefor, and in addition an oxapenem-3-carboxylic acid of the formula ##STR1## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester or amide in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently is hydrogen or a pharmaceutically acceptable group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms which is connected with the balance of the molecule via carbon-carbon single bonds, and in which
