Abstract
Multilobar shaped catalyst particulates, e.g., tri- or quadrilobar particulates, well adapted for the catalytic conversion of gases containing compounds of sulfur, e.g. SO.sub.2, H.sub.2 S, COS and/or CS.sub.2, by the Claus reaction and/or by hydrolysis, are comprised of a catalytically effective amount of values catalytically active in the Claus reaction and/or reactions entailing hydrolysis of organosulfur compounds.
