Abstract
A method and device for controlling a headrest provided on a seat back of a seat, in which there is arranged an over-load detecting system for detecting an over-load state of a motor and automatically stopping the motor if the over-load state is detected during displacement of the headrest to a use position, or automatically driving the motor to return the headrest to a use position if the over-load state is detected during displacement of the headrest to a non-use position. This allows for removing an object caught in between the headrest and seat back with much safe.
