Abstract

The invention relates to the synthesis of metal salts of weak acids and in particular indium formate. It proposes a process in which the anodic oxidation of metal is achieved under the effect of electric current in a cell filled with an electrolytic solution containing weak acid whose salt it is desired to produce, having at least its anode or anodes consisting of metal whose salt it is desired to produce. The salt is available in suspension in the electrolytic solution. The invention also proposes an electrosynthesis cell, as well as products synthesized in a particular morphology. The invention applies itself to the synthesis of indium formate in particular to pyrolyze it as a thin layer on glass.
