Abstract
A novel process for producing .alpha.-[(dialkylamino)substituted-methylene].beta.-oxo-(substituted) propanenitriles of the formula: ##STR1## where R, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are defined in the specification by reacting a substituted isoxazole with a diaklyamide dimethylacetal is provided.
