Abstract
The present invention relates to new carboxylic acid halides containing trifluoromethyl groups, of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which the symbols used have the meanings given in the description, a process for their preparation by reaction of perhalogenoalkanes with carbon monoxide and an olefin and their use for the preparation of textile auxiliaries.
