Abstract

Bead polymers having an average particle diameter of from 0.5 to 10 .mu.m and a narrow particle diameter distribution of K.ltoreq.0.25 and containing from 1 to 60% by weight of chemically bound fluorine are suitable for use as matting agents and spacers in photographic recording materials.
