Abstract
An insecticidal and/or acaricidal composition comprising as active ingredients 2-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-propynyl)cyclopent-2-enyl chrysanthemate and a phenoxybenzyl ester compound having the formula [I], ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen or cyano, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or fluorine, and X is chlorine or bromine, is markedly effective against insect pests having a low sensitivity to pyrethroid and acarine pests which cannot be effectively controlled by the use of a single agent.
