Metal oxides prepared by exchange reactions between organosemiconductor oxides (such as disiloxanes) and metal coordination compounds (such as neutral metal complexes, metal chelates and chlorometalates), metallic halides (such as zinc chloride), or organometallic compounds (such as methylithium) in inert environments and anhydrous solvents.
