Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of preparing crystalline, zeolitic aluminosilicates with SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 ratios of 20 or more. The method provides a rapid, two-stage crystallization process which avoids the formation of secondary crystalline phases. The first stage is conducted at a temperature between 240.degree. C. and 325.degree. C. for between about 1 and 20 minutes. The second stage is conducted at a temperature between about 120.degree. C. and 225.degree. C. for about 1 to 100 hours.
