Abstract
A threaded locking beam nut 20 in which each of a plurality of beams 22 is configured such that confronting side walls 27 and 28 of adjacent beams diverge outwardly away from each other. Any debris located between that confronting side walls of adjacent beams therefore does not inhibit movement of the beams from a locking, expanding position to a free, inwardly-tapered position.
