Abstract
Monoclonal antibodies which recognize activated T lymphocytes are secreted by hybridomas produced by conventinal fusion and selection methodology following immunization of mice with a human lymphocyte fraction containing T lymphocytes activated by a mitrogen or an antigen. The monoclonal antibodies are used in a method to monitor subsets of activated T lymphocytes present, for example, from a patient's blood.
