Abstract
2-substituted 2,3-epoxy-5-cyclohexenone derivatives of the formula I ##STR1## where W is C.dbd.O or CHOR.sup.1, R.sup.1 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or alkoxycarbonyl, R is a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon chain, or phenyl or phenylalkyl whose phenyl radical is substituted or unsubstituted and whose alkyl radical may be interrupted by O or S and fungicides and herbicides containing these compounds.
