Abstract

The manufacture of vinyltrichlorosilane by reacting vinylchloride with trichlorosilane at a temperature of 400.degree. to 750.degree. C. in a tubular reactor with a rotating displacement body axial-symmetrically disposed therein is improved by heating the reactants to a temperature of 120.degree. to 400.degree. C. prior to their introduction into the reactor.
