Abstract

Colored cyan couplers corresponding to formula II are eminently suitable for masking the yellow secondary density of cyan dyes. The reproduction of blues and yellows is thus improved. The colored cyan couplers of formula II are preferably used together with phenolic cyan couplers bearing a phenylureido group in the 2-position and an acylamino group with a ballast group in the 5-position ##STR1## In formula II: CC represents a cyan coupler group to the coupling position of which L is attached;
