Abstract
A high-octane gasoline is produced by the conversion of a light hydrocarbon containing C.sub.2 -C.sub.7 paraffins and/or C.sub.2 -C.sub.7 olefins using a crystalline aluminogallosilicate containing about 0.1-2.5% by weight of aluminum and about 0.1-5% by weight of gallium in the skeleton thereof and having a particle size in the range of about 0.05-20 .mu.m, with at least 80% by weight of the crystalline aluminogallosilicate having a particle size of 0.1-10 .mu.m.
