Abstract

Disclosed is a method of confirming the identity of a patient with an individual to receive a treatment intended for said patient, by (a) obtaining a print identification characteristic of said patient; (b) obtaining a print identification characteristic of said individual to whom said treatment is intended to be administered; (c) confirming the identity of the print identification characteristic obtained from the patient with the print identification characteristic obtained from the individual. Also disclosed are an associated device and system. The device can have information identifying one or more than one patient.
