Abstract

The present invention provides a method for the determination of a component of an immune reaction in a plasma sample using an immunoassay at a temperature of from 15.degree. to 40.degree. C., where one of the reactive components is in solid phase. The invention involves adding an amount of plasminogen activator sufficient to eliminate interference by fibrinogen with the component to be determined.
