Abstract
A water-in-oil emulsion type cosmetic composition comprising 0.1% to 20% by weight of a propylene oxide-ethylene oxide addition product having the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein a is an integer of 7 to 19, b is an integer of a+2, m is an average addition mol number of 5 to 30, and n is an average addition mol number of 5 to 30, and 0.01% to 20% by weight of an iron oxide. This water-in-oil emulsion type cosmetic composition has excellent emulsification stability and excellent dispersion stabililty of an iron oxide pigment at a wide temperature range.
