Abstract

Polymeric step ladder polysuccinimide compositions prepared by coupling the polyamine segments of polyalkenyl succinimides with dicarboxylic acids are useful as improved lubricating oil dispersants which are more compatible with engine seals made of synthetic rubbers such as Viton.RTM. than existing additives.
