Abstract
The invention provides thiazole derivatives of the general formula I: ##STR1## or an acid-addition salt or metal salt complex thereof, in which R represents an optionally substituted phenyl group; R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl or phenyl group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted akyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkenyl, cycloalkylcarbonyl or benzyl group; R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or a haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, hydroxyl, cyano, nitro or dialkylamino group; Y represents a group --CH.sub.2 O-- or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 -- and n is 0 or 1; processes for their preparation; compositions containing such compounds and their use as fungicides.
