Abstract
Slow-release pharmaceutical agents which comprise at least one adenine, cystine and tyrosine in combination with at least one pharmaecutically active substance are disclosed. The slow-release pharmaceutical agents which may be tablet, granule, implant, capsule, troche, etc., can either slowly release their active substances over time or release the active substances a predetermined time after their administration. And the slow-release pharmaceutical agent may be used with practically all types of drugs irrespective of whether they are water-soluble or slightly water-soluble, including hypotensives, antipyretic analgesic antiinflammatories, immunoregulators, adrenocortical hormones, antidiabetic agent, vasodilators, cardiotonics, antiarrhythmic agents, anti-arteriosclerotic agents, and antidotes.
