Abstract

A method for oil-densensitization treatment of a lithographic printing plate is disclosed, comprising treating the plate with an aqueous solution containing a silicate represented by the formula SiO.sub.2 /M.sub.2 O (wherein M is an alkali metal atom) and a water-soluble resin.
