Abstract
A method for installing an electrical heat sensor in a heatable laminate to function as a substitute for a defective heat sensor originally installed in the laminate during the manufacture thereof, comprising the steps of drilling a blind hole in an edge of the laminate, inserting a heat sensor into the hole, and filling the hole with a material to seal the hole and the heat sensor from contamination.
