Abstract
A recording medium comprises a substrate and a ink receiving layer containing a silicon-containing type colorant and a binder provided on said substrate, wherein the recording medium exhibits discoloration .DELTA.E.sup.* ab of C. I. Food Black 2 being 20 or less according to the ozone test.
