Abstract

A water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic, which comprises a specific emulsifier mixture, an oily base containing a silicone oil and water and has a viscosity of 20,000 cps or below at 25.degree. C. is disclosed. The water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic of the present invention imparts a good feel to the skin during use, is safe to use and has a high storage stability, which makes it widely applicable for use in, for example, milky lotions, body-care lotions and liquid-type foundations.
