Abstract
A non-light-sensitive image-receiving element useful in a silver complex diffusion transfer process includes at least one layer containing certain tone controlling agents that accelerate the physical development of silver. Compounds useful for this purpose are alkyl disulfides substituted by a water solubilizing group, thiazolidine carboxylic acids, .gamma.-thiobutyrolactones, higher alkyl thioglycolates, and carboxy-substituted rhodanines.
