Abstract
A novel anti-suntan cosmetic composition comprises from 1 to 25% by weight of fine particulate zinc oxide having an average particle size of from 70 to 300 m.mu., which scatters or absorbs ultraviolet rays, especially those in UV-A region. The composition prevent human skin from blotches and freckles, and supress the aging of the skin.
