Abstract

Epoxides are isomerized to ketones by contacting the epoxides with a catalyst effective amount of a substantially fully hydrogenated palladium catalyst at a temperature of from about 200.degree. C. to about 300.degree. C. while contacting the epoxides with hydrogen at a partial pressure of equal to or less than one atmosphere.
