An organic conductive complex comprising an electron donor and an electron acceptor, the electron donor being an anthraquinone derivative represented by formula (1): ##STR1## wherein X.sup.1, X.sup.2, X.sup.3 and X.sup.4, which may be the same or different, each represents an electron donating group.
