Abstract
Optical sensor line of amorphous or polycrystalline photo-electric material having a plurality of sensor elements. An optical sensor line of amorphous or polycrystalline photo-electric material having a plurality of sensor elements, whereby it is provided that a non-linear element is allocated to each sensor element as a converter that converts the photo-current (i.sub.ph) of the associated sensor and which is proportional to the quantity of light incident on the sensor into a signal voltage (u.sub.s) that is at least approximately proportional to the logarithm of the photo-current (i.sub.ph).
