Abstract
o-Aminomethylphenols of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, alkyl, alkoxy or dimethylamino, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxyalkyl, cyclohexyl or phenyl, or R.sup.1 and R.sub.2, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 form a carbocyclic, saturated or unsaturated five-membered or six-membered ring, and R is alkyl, and salts thereof, and fungicides containing these compounds.
