Abstract
The glycocyamidine derivatives of the present invention are represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, preferably a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, such as methyl, ethyl, propyl or isopropyl, and R represents hydrogen or an acetyl group, which are useful as test reagents for diagnosis of renal failure.
