Abstract
An electronic muscial instrument for use in a stringed instrument such as a guitar, a guitar synthesizer or a violin. Two modes can be selectively set by a mode setting operation conducted on a mode setting section. Even if the same fingering operation is performed, a pitch designated by the fingering operation differs depending on which one of the two modes is currently set.
