Abstract

Method for polymerizing a monomer suspended in water which comprises: Preparing a polymerization mixture of a water immiscible, liquid, ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a polyisocyanate and an oil soluble free radical initiator, dispersing said mixture in a solution of water and a surfactant, and effecting polymerization of said monomer.
