Abstract
The trisodium salt of 2,4,6-trimercapto-s-triazine nonahydrate (TMT-Na.sub.3 9H.sub.2 O) is prepared by reacting cyanuric chloride with NaHS and NaOH or with a mixture of NaHS and Na.sub.2 S and NaOH in an alkaline, aqueous medium.
