Abstract
Improved method for the manufacture of plant regulant pyridazine-4-one carboxylic acids, which comprises the step of diazo-coupling a benzenediazonium salt with a dialkyl 3-oxoglutarate in the presence of water and a dispersing agent, preferably at a temperature not greater than 5.degree. C.
