Abstract
In a compressed-air dryer, a base has formed therein a recess at the other end thereof. An inlet port is connected to an air compressor and communicates with the recess. An outlet port is connected to an air reservoir. Air after having passed through a desiccant container is discharged to the air reservoir through the outlet port. An oil-mist separator has one end thereof communicating with the inlet port through the recess. The other end of the oil-mist separator communicates with the desiccant container. The oil-mist separator is received within a tubular section of the base and cooperates with the tubular section to define a transport cavity therebetween. The inlet port communicates with the oil-mist separator thorugh the transport cavity and the recess.
